____________

Team building
Sandra has now returned to The Collective office to join Casper and Miriam. She’s working Wednesday-Friday each week handling jobs, thereby freeing up some of Casper’s time to improve the quality of our freelancers database – more about that later.

____________

Jack’s road trip
Jack and Jasmine are now on the US leg of their ‘world tour’, where all is going well for them. Watch this space for the full report, sometime at the end of December.

____________

Travel companion for Dubai opportunities
Copywriter Erik Rolf is looking for an art director to accompany him on a month-long work-seeking mission in Dubai. He says: "I've tried to find freelance work there via email, but everybody has the same advice: don't bother calling from Amsterdam, it doesn't work that way. Just go and it will be very easy to find work." So if you fancy a change of scenery, drop
Erik an email at hello@erikrolf.com.

____________

Transcreation – opportunities for copywriters
The Collective is going to add “Transcreation” to its list of disciplines in an attempt to encourage companies to improve the quality of translated texts by having their translations made and touched up by copywriters. If you would like a slice of this action please get in touch (Casper@thecollective.net) with info about which languages you are available to transcreate from and to. Casper will shortly be sending new profile sheets to all of our copywriters which will include a section for you to let us know which languages you would like to transcreate from.

____________

End of month drinks
November end-of-the-month drinks will take place on Friday 30th November 5pm-8pm in the shop “The Jack Stafford Collection” at Vijzelstraat 67, Amsterdam. All are welcome. Jack and Jasmine will still be away, but the show must go on!

Please RSVP (Miriam@thecollective.net) to help us know how much wine/beer to get!
____________

Xmas dinner
All freelancers listed on our books will soon receive an invitation (via Evite) to this year’s Collective Xmas dinner. Save the date: Wednesday 19th December.

____________
