A band on our record label are opening their own shop record shop for 3 weeks to sell their debut EP. There’s a page in Amsterdam’s Het Parole about them tomorrow so keep your eye out for that, and the opening is this Saturday at 5pm – Vijzelstraat 67, Amsterdam. Photography / art

After the Stutters are finished with the shop I’m going to sell the suits and other things in there. They’ll be wall space for exhibiting photography and art from a Collective member each month. If you would like to be considered, please send me JPEGs of your work. (The shop is going to be up-market so no cartoon-like pictures)

Job vacancy for assistant marketing manager

We have a vacancy for a full-time assistant marketing manager. If you know someone please pass this on.

Job description: Creating and co-ordinating the promotion of THE COLLECTIVE to advertising agencies. The job description includes marketing, communication, sales and strategy. Everything from design to data inputting. From event brainstorming to detailed organization. From advertising creation to print buying. It is an exciting job with freedom and potential. The ideal candidate is a marketing graduate with at least two years work experience. Motivated, hard working and self-supervising, you must be confident and good on the telephone and be willing to do what it takes to grow the business. Knowledge of Dutch and English is essential. Computer and design experience is advantageous but not essential, as is experience in and enthusiasm for advertising. THE COLLECTIVE is Europe´s leading agent for freelance advertising professionals.
